BlackBerry MediaSync for iTunes showed its face for few seconds on RIM’s official servers but then was quickly pulled. This new software application is expected to allow users to transfer all of their existing iTunes music, including album artwork and playlists, right over to their BlackBerrys.

HBO to bring content to iTunes store

Time Warner’s HBO and Apple announced today that select programming is now available for purchase on iTunes.  At launch, “The Sopranos,” “Sex and the City,” “Deadwood,” “Rome,” “Flight of the Conchords,” and “The Wire” will be available for download immediately.

iTunes selling movies on DVD release date

It’s official. Apple has announced today that users can now purchase movies the same day they are released to DVD from its iTunes store. Movie purchases will run US$14.99 for the new releases and can viewed on Apple’s iPods, iPhone, Macs, or a Windows compatible PC.
