RIM’s HSDPA-enabled BlackBerry Bold 9000 (Meteor) is officially announced

Anticipating the June intro and hoopla of Apple’s 3G iPhone, RIM officially announced its newest 3G BlackBerry today, the Bold 9000 (often referred to as the Meteor). Here is a quick run-down of the Bold’s specifications:

RIM’s BlackBerry 9000 Bold to go public on May 12

According to the Boy Genius Report, RIM will launch its newest BlackBerry smartphone as soon as next week. The BlackBerry 9000 Bold is reportedly to be announced Monday, May 12.
Research in Motion’s BlackBerry 9000 is the company’s first HSDPA smartphone and is set to offer WiFi connectivity and GPS.
