Verizon Wireless “in deep talks” to acquire Alltel for $27 billion
The Wall Street Journal and our sister website MobileBurn.com are reporting that Verizon Wireless is in talks to acquire Alltel for $27 billion, the fifth largest nationwide carrier and third largest CDMA provider.
