BBC iPlayer gets upgrade for UK viewers
Over in the UK, the BBC iPlayer is making waves. Famed for its ease of use, the iPlayer offers a back-log of TV shows for the British public to access. This is especially useful if you missed your favourite show and want to watch it while at work or away from a TV, but with access to the internet. Having experienced many makeovers recently, the iPlayer continues to receive upgrades and improvements, almost on a weekly basis. The latest and greatest is as follows…
One of the main pitfalls with the iPlayer was the fact that it only allowed you to watch the latest seven says worth of BBC produced TV. Fortunately, one of the big improvements is that now you can watch the entire duration of a show’s series, and in improved video quality to boot. This little feature is known as ‘Series Stacking’. With a number of juicy series on the way, this is a beautiful edition to an already ground breaking product.
If you are living in the UK, you can expect to start enjoying the feature in a little over 2 weeks (13th September to be precise). Have you been recommended a series half way through? Now you can easily catch up without having to wait for the DVD box set to come out!
