New colours for your Eee PC
Not happy with you current selection of Eee PCs? Fear not since Asus is about to bust-a-move and bring out a couple more to fill any gaps. This time, we will get to pick between some crazy color options too.
The Eee PC 901 XP will be available in cherry red while the 900 XP will come in purple. Unfortunately, there is absolutely nothing else we are going to get to pick between when it comes to these and their traditional opposite number. It should be noted, however, that the 901 is actually listed as containing the Atom, while the 900 only specifies that it is using an Intel Processor, without really elaborating on what this might be. Furthermore, the 900 will only offer Wireless G, a 4-cell battery but 16GB of SSD storage. The 901, on the other hand, will pack Draft-N wireless and offer a 6-cell battery, but wimps out with only 12GB of SSD storage. Other than that, expect the same, with the standard 1GB RAM and XP on both.
