BenQ have a fine history in producing high-end monitors, but they are arguably most well known for the exceptionally reasonable pricing choices they make come RRP day. In a similar fashion, their two latest specimens do not fail to impress.

The main reason why the ‘G2200WT‘ 22-in monitor and the ‘G2400WT‘ 24-in monitor stand out from the crowd is down to their uncanny ability to extend and twist into any position imaginable. Their flexibility should come as a welcome relief to those of us who wish our monitors would extend up just another few centimeters, or rotate in more than just one plane. Apparently, this pair will get themselves into any position you’ve ever imagined.

And the bang for your buck certainly doesn’t stop there. The ‘G2200WT’ will churn out a dazzling 1680 x 1050 resolution, while the ‘G2400WT’ should provide native resolutions of 1920 x 1200. The accompanying contrast ratios are 2,500:1 and 4,000:1 respectively. Wack on a 5ms response time, and you’re set. To round things off in style, both monitors offer-up DVI-D with HDCP connectors, while the ‘G2400WT’ boasts a HDCP compliant HDMI port as well.

We follow up on the impressive RRP talk with facts, and they are £180 ($360) and £318 ($630) sale values including VAT for the ‘G2200WT’ 22-in monitor and the ‘G2400WT’ 24-in monitor respectively.
