Upcoming MacBook Air to get a faster processor and bigger battery?
Reports are indicating that Apple is giving a refresh to its ultra thin MacBook Air. It seems the outside will remain the same but it is rumored that the notebook’s processor will get a new, faster Penryn class Core 2 Duo processor. Apple is also expected to include a larger battery to compensate for the new CPU’s increased power drain.
Not much else is known other than the new models are set to include two hard drive options - 120GB and 180GB, and will ship with a 60W AC power adapter to better deal with the larger battery packed inside.
Rumor also has it that electronic retailers have been notified of the pending change but are to keep things under wraps until the launch.
