New iPod dock with a twist, only from iHome
Most iPod docks are pretty similar, but the iH41 from iHome is dissimilar enough to catch our attention at the DB command center, and here’s why.
Quite literally, the ‘iH41′ is an iPod dock concealing a twist. That is to say, the main (if not only) difference between this and other iPod docks is that this dock can be used vertically and horizontally. Such blasphemy! Impossible? Please cast your eyes right to the picture if you don’t believe me!
Although this is not really the revolutionary design adjustment that will prompt current iPod dock owners to convert, it is a handy feature. Supporting the iPod Touch, when in the horizontal position, the dock will allow you to watch your favourite shows and have great sound while doing so: perfect for the traveler types or road-trip enthusiasts.
For those unfamiliar with the iHome technology specifications, the ‘iH41′ will offer well-mannered acoustics through the proprietary EXB Expanded Bass and Reson8 speaker expertise. This particular device also sports a large digital clock/alarm and can charge your iPod while plugged in. It also comes with a remote control.
The ‘iH41′ will only cost you $79.99 RRP but does not support the iPhone or iPhone 3G. Buy at your own discretion.
