SlingMedia updates SlingPlayer software

A new software update has been released for SlingMedia’s SlingPlayer adding new and improved features. The new v2.0 public beta update is for Windows users only (sorry Mac users!) and offers a few new features as well as some slight tweaks including:

Live Video Buffer that lets users control video for up to 60 minutes with pause, rewind, fast-forward
Built-in SlingPlayer Guide that allows on-screen guidance without having to use the TV’s guide
SlingRemote looks and acts like your home remote control
Multiple viewing modes and sizes for optimal viewing

The SlingPlayer 2.0 Beta update is available now from SlingMedia.
