New Canon PIXMA MP480, MP190 All-In-One printers
Today Canon announced two new photo AIO (all-in-one) printers, the MP480 and the MP190. The printers are designed for users looking for a quick and simple printer that provides printing, scanning, copying, and photo printing.
“With each generation of All-In-One printers, Canon sets the bar higher with convenient operation, speed and image quality. These new models exemplify why Canon is the imaging expert in our industry,” said Yuichi Ishizuka, senior vice president and general manager, Consumer Imaging Group, Canon U.S.A.
The Canon PIXMA MP480 delivers print speeds up to 20 pages per minute (black) and 16 pages per minute (color) and prints 4×6″ prints in less than 45 seconds. The MP480 sports a large 1.8″ color LCD display for controlling and navigating the printer and features auto photo fix and auto scan mode for convenience. The MP480 is expected to cost US$99.99. The printer also offers optional wireless capabilities via a BU-30 Bluetooth adapter for an additional US$50.
The Canon PIXMA MP190 photo printer features 4800 x 1200 dpi color resolution with print speeds up to 19ppm (black) and 15ppm (color) and delivers 4×6″ prints in less than 70 seconds. The economical MP190 is set to be available for US$69.99.
