Upcoming Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 available on pre-order
Amazon’s #1 spot as the premium announcer of new products has been slipping away recently, with Play.com getting in on some exclusive action. For those that have been anticipating the release of the new Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 smartphone, according to Play.com, the device is expected to be available on the 30th of October.
For those who live in the UK, the device, measuring up at 110 x 53 x 16.7mm (145g), is available now on preorder. Furthermore, delivery on the launch day will be free. Similarly, the specifications for the device are now crystal clear. To clarify, the device will offer HSDPA, WiFi and assisted GPS. There is the full Qwerty keyboard that we’ve seen in many of the display pictures, but we can also confirm that there will be Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and voice dialing. With only 400MB of internal memory, the microSD slot is warmly received.
Now all we have to do is find £599.99 ($1200).
