New BlackBerry Javelin and Kickstart to hit T-Mobile’s lineup
Tired of the BlackBerry Pearl and Curve? Want to upgrade to a new device, but know that you’ll miss your trusty BlackBerry? Look no further than the T-Mobile lineup through the end of the year. All corny used car-like statements aside, the company plans to launch both the Javelin and the Kickstart by the end of the year. Being the first flip-based BlackBerry, the Kickstart certainly has a lot to prove, but with OS 4.6, and a speculated $50 price point, the phone is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Look for a September or October release for the Kickstart.
The Javelin is set to launch as well, sporting OS 4.6.1 and EDGE (no 3G, unfortunately) connectivity. The 8120 is also set to launch in tahiti green, indigo, and frost blue. Sorry, Bold followers: as of now, there is no plans to launch the Bold on the network. Anyone thinking of jumping to AT&T? Let us know…
