Goodmans GHDAB101 DAB radio smallest around
Goodmans have announced what is likely to be the smallest stand-alone DAB/FM radio in the world, measuring in at a mere 69.5 x 44 x 21.4mm and aimed at the UK. With these small dimensions, it is no surprise that the thing only weighs 48g. Given the small demeanor, it may be forgiven for not packing the largest feature set known to man. We do have a small screen offering up volume level, battery level, station name and signal strength. You can also store up to 10 presets on the device to match whatever mood you are in. A single pair of AA batteries will hook you up for more than 10 hours of DAB listening, and over 15 hours of standard FM.
The signal is captured via the headphones, which is ok for most, but not for everyone. Especially those who use a Bluetooth adapter to go wireless. Over 90% of the UK is covered by digital radio, so signal strength should be good most places. If small is your thing, the GHDAB101 is available right away for only £44.99 (double for dollars!).
