New MacBook metal cases surface

Rumors have surfaced every now and again, but a major development has hit the MacNN and it includes pictures. Coming from a fairly reliable source, the leak includes pictures of what appears to be the case lid and shows the transition from plastic to metal, along with tapered edges. Little else is known about the computer other than the processor (most likely a Core 2 Duo). The leaked information points to a potential September release date for the new notebooks. Like any rumor, add a few grains to the salt shaker, although this one appears to be quite credible.
