Apple removes Box Office application from App Store

One of my favorite applications on the iPhone is the ability to check movie times through applications such as ‘Box Office.’ If you’re like me, we’re both going to have to use alternative methods, as Apple has removed the application from the App Store with no notice. Metasyntactic, the creator of the program, says it has no idea why the app has been pulled.

In a statement from Boing Boing Gadgets, the developer told users that “Apple pulled the app yesterday (03 August) without giving me any notification that they were doing it, or what their justification was for removing it”. I’ve tried to contact them about the issue, but it’s been a complete dead end. If anyone has a useful contact number for apple, please let me know.” He goes on to say that all of the data is licensed as ‘free for non-commercial use.’
