TRENDnet offers dual-band 802.11n router
TRENDnet today began offering its dual-band 802.11n router to the masses. The device gives users the ability to run 802.11n Wi-Fi on the faster 5GHz band or on the more common 2.4GHz band. The router offers a range up to six times that of a normal 802.11g network, and gets connection speeds up to a theoretical 300Mbps peak thanks to a three-antenna MIMO (Multiple In, Multiple Out) design.
It has four gigabit Ethernet ports as well as a hardware firewall, and offers Universal Plug and Play for automatic media sharing over Windows Media Center, the Xbox 360, or other similar devices. TRENDnet offers the device for $160.
