Dell launches new Studio Hybrid computers
They’re cute, colorful, and coming to a home near you! Though we had heard about them and knew they were coming, Dell certainly surprised us with the quick launch of the Dell Studio Hybrid computers. Those seeking a Mac Mini or an Eee PC may want to consider the computer as an alternative, as it offers quite the bang for the buck.
The systems ship with 4GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive, and a T8100 Core 2 Duo processor. With HDMI out, Blu-ray and TV tuner available, the system could easily be used as a fully functional multimedia device. Power-wise, the system emits 1 watt in hibernation mode, 26W asleep and 44W while running. The computer is offered in bamboo, olive, mauve, red, blue, gray, or orange colors, and begins at $500. For the price, the system is quite the bang for the buck; with the customization options, it is sure to be a crowd favorite.
