Sprint launches new web portal for its phones
Sprint yesterday launched ‘Sprint Web,’ a new homepage for their mobile phones. Following on the announcement a few months ago by Google and Sprint, the new homepage integrates a Google search into the mix. Because the content will be based on the user’s previous use, each homepage will be unique, as it will be based on the pages that they frequent.
This is a free upgrade that will take place automatically. The update will apply to most of Sprint’s phones and the company plans to have it available on all web enabled devices in the coming weeks.
