Developers get iPhone 2.1 beta
The iPhone 2.1 software appears to have been sent to developers for testing, and it appears as if the software improves upon the phone’s GPS capabilities. The core location services are receiving enhancements such as the ability to tell your direction and speed. According to PhoneArena, Telenav will be coming to the iPhone shortly. Additionally, rumors are swirling that Apple’s background push service will debut soon.
Let’s hope that they fix the keyboard lag and other small issues as well.
