Gallery: The Samsung TL34HD/NV100HD 14 megapixel, 720p HD camera
Samsung was showing off its TL34HD (known as the NV100HD in the UK) digital camera recently. This new camera is the company’s flagship point and shoot model and boasts a slew of features including 14.7-megapixel resolution, 28mm wide angle Schneider lens, 3.6x optical zoom, dual image stabilization (optical/digital), smile and blink detection for up to 9 faces, and to top that off, the new TL34HD shoots 720p HD video.
Building upon its predessor, the NV24HD, the new TL34HD offers a large 3-inch touch screen HVGA LCD that shows off Samsung’s Smart Touch 2.0 user interface. With on-screen navigation, fixing white balance and other settings is simple. Using the resistive touch display, two quick swipes on the display in an “X” shape deletes a photo upon review or a finger-gestured “O” simply rotates the photo.
The Samsung TL34HD 14-megapixel digital camera is expected to be available in September of this year for US$329.95. Check out the gallery after the jump.
