A preview of the Samsung SC-HMX20C high-def camcorder
Recently we had a chance to cozy up with Samsung’s SC-HMX20C HD camcorder. The new recorder looks similar to its sibling, the MX20, from the outside but offers a few more features including full high definition recording (1920×1080 pixel resolution) on its inside.
For video buffs that want to take recording to another level, this may be just the option. Apart from its HD capabilities, the HMX20C sports a 6.4 megapixel CMOS sensor, and a large and colorful 2.7-inch touch screen display. The recorder felt solid in hand, not causing too much hand fatique (1 pound weight) and offers a convenient swivel handgrip for those hard to capture moments.

- 90 minute record time

The Samsung SC-HMX20C is expected to retail for US$850.
