iPhone app lets you blog to WordPress from your device

This is fantastic news for all WordPress users (including myself). The company today announced the availability of a WordPress application for the Apple iPhone, available from the App Store. It will work with all WordPress.com blogs as well as any self-installed WordPress 2.51 or higher.

Some known issues exist, however:

Accented characters not encoded properly
Blogs with Twitter Tools plugin installed sending Twitter links to posts that don’t exist
iPod Touch users may experience problems with the toolbar
Inability to add a blog using a custom uploads location
Errors when adding blogs for some users
Some theme previews may not be available
