Samsung launches four new Point-and-Shoot cameras
Samsung today launched four new digital cameras: the TL34HD, TL9, SL310W, and SL201. The new cameras offer high-definition output to HDTV’s, HD video capture, generous-sized touch screens, and music and video playback via iPod.
All cameras will hit the stores in September, and more information on the various models is available after the jump.
- The TL34HD offers 14.7 megapixels and 3.6X zoom lens also provides a 28mm wide-angle view on the other end. It has a 3-inch touchscreen and can capture video footage in 720p HD resolution. The list price should be $329.95.
- The TL9 is a 10-megapixel compact shooter that sports a 5X optical zoom and a 2.7-inch (non-touch) display. It will be available for $279.95.
- The SL310 offers a slimmer form factor with a 13.6 MP image sensor and “Dual Image Stabilization” to cut down on blurry pictures due to shaky hands. With a 2.7-inch LCD, it will be offered at $229.95.
- The SL201 has a 2.7-inch display and is a 10.2 megapixel camera, and surprisingly offers a lithium-ion battery, which is rare for an inexpensive camera. It will be priced at $169.95.
