New HP TouchSmart IQ504, IQ506 desktop PCs
Thanks to HP, touch-enabled, all-in-one PCs are now available in the consumer marketplace through major retailers nationwide. The PC is very easy to use, requiring a tap or sweep of the finger to access the computer - no keyboard or mouse is necessary. With the new machines, users can play music and create playlists; crop, edit, and share photos, check the weather, or watch TV.
With the new device, touchscreen computing has never been easier, according to Jeff McCrea, vice president and general manager, Consumer PC Platform Group, Intel Corporation. “With its new touch screen capability, sleek design and the powerful, energy-efficient Intel Core 2 duo processor, your digital world is truly now at your fingertips.”
Each system offers a 22-inch high-definition LCD with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, TV tuner for watching and recording TV shows, a DVD burner, premium stereo speakers, webcam, and microphone. The HP TouchSmart IQ504 PC and the TV-tuner equipped HP TouchSmart IQ506 PC are available beginning at $1,299 and $1,499, respectively.
