Casio’s EXILIM EX-Z150 camera

Before recently, 3-inch LCD screens on cameras were reserved for the higher end models.  The new EX-Z150 offers a 3-inch LCD as well as a 28-mm wide angle lens, 8.1 megapixel 1/2.5-inch CCD with 4x optical zoom, and face detection.  The features on the camera are impressive, considering that the EX-Z150 is not the highest end camera in the Casio line.

Thanks to the video era, the camera is YouTube capable, offering a specific ‘capture mode’ - 640 x 480 at 30fps for up to 10 minutes at a time.  The camera is offered in a relatively small 20.1-mm package which shrinks down to 18.9-mm depending on where the camera is measured.  No word on launch dates at this time, however we expect to hear more information in the near future.
