New Belkin FlyWire cuts HD audio, video wires

Belkin’s newly announced FlyWire lets users have the freedom without wires to deliver HD video and audio to any HDTV capable device. Using the 5GHz band for connectivity, the FlyWire offers a full 1080p HDMI wireless solution to connect Blu-ray players, video gaming consoles, and the alike to any HDTV in the home.

Belkin’s FlyWire transceiver acts as a hub, connecting peripherals like an Xbox 360 to the remote receiver mounted on an HDTV in the kitchen or bedroom, and can even be used on a ceiling-mounted projector.

The FlyWire from Belkin offers an SD expansion slot for upgrades and will be available in October of this year globally for US$999.99.
