Apple releases Apple TV update v2.1, adds remote control support

Following on the heels of Apple’s todays iTune update and its iPhone App Store launch, the Cupertino giant has released a new software update for its Apple TV application.

Apple TV v2.1 is available now from the Apple TV’s Settings and offers support for the company’s Remote app, which allows users to use iPhones and iPod Touchs to control iTunes. The new Remote application can be found here.
