Samsung shows off five new laptops
Five new laptops from Samsung were revealed today, and the specifications are commendable. The Q210, Q310, Aura R510, R560, and R710 are all powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor. As a desktop replacement, the R710 sports a large 17-inch LCD with 1920×1080 (WUXGA) resolution, along with 4GB of DDR3 memory and an optional NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT graphics card with 512MB of onboard memory. The system also offers a 7-in-1 card reader, 4 USB ports, a 54mm PCI Express Card slot, and a VGA port. The 320GB hard drive is 5400RPM.
The Q210 and Q310 use a 2.26GHz and 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo chip, respectively. The Q210 offers a 3-in-1 media card reader, while the Q310 offers a 7-in-1 slot. The systems offer 12.1-inch and 13.1-inch screens, respectively. All of the systems offer 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 EDR. Look for the devices to launch this September.
