Nikon offers firmware updates for its D300, D3 DSLR cameras
Nikon has released updates for its D300 and D3 digital SLR cameras. The firmware update for the D3, v2.0, fixes and offers improved autofocus performance and automatic white balance as well as fixing a known issue where the battery indicator lamp will blink consistently. Other fixes include a new aperture setting when shooting in LiveView mode, more Vignette control and settings, new world-time and choose image area options.
The camera manufacturer has also added a firmware update for the D300, v1.03, which will fix the battery indicator issue as mentioned for the D3.
All firmware updates can be done via a Windows or Mac computer.
