Upcoming Asus Eee PCs 904 and 905
Neither of the new Asus Eee PCs (904 and 905 models) rumored to be forging an existence over at Asus labs, may exist. Come again?
Well, not strictly speaking anyhow. According to a UK website, the rumored Asus Eee 905 is no more than word play, and the 904 version will not, as we were led to believe, be replacing the 901 model. In fact, it would seem as though Asus are responding to customer feedback and demand, and will be offering an option of a smaller chassis and an option of a larger keyboard.
It has also been speculated that the 904 may use a traditional HDD instead of an SSD, to lower its production and sales costs. What’s more, the Asus Eee PC 904 may become available much sooner rather than later (perhaps within the month). Watch this space.
