Apple building an iPhone with a real QWERTY keyboard?

apple-logo1Some new reports reveal that the Cupertino giant is at it again and this time it is rumored to be building a new Apple iPhone with a built-in, physical keyboard.

Aimed at the enterprise market, ahem BlackBerry, a physical keyboard versus the existing virtual onscreen keyboard used today in the original iPhone and upcoming iPhone 3G would be a welcome addition.

There are current rumors that Apple has already provided prototypes to some wireless networks to get feedback on whether this would be a viable option for mobile users.

According to Guy Kewney at NewsWireless.net, “Actual prototypes - not just mockups - have been sent to senior executives at some operators. I’m not allowed to even hint which operators.”

Maybe this time next year we will all be waiting in line for full physical QWERTY keyboard infused iPhone.
