Some new promo photos of Creative’s new ZEN X-Fi digital audio players have surfaced and are set to include WiFi as part of the package. The new player is set to feature chatting abilities with Yahoo and Microsoft messaging support and have the ability to stream media direct from Creative’s public media server, all via WiFi.

Also to be included are an SD expansion slot for additional headroom, an FM tuner, voice recorder, and a built-in speaker. The new ZEN X-Fi should provide up to 36 hours of audio or 5 hours of video playback.

The new player is expected to ship in 8, 16, and 32GB models. No word yet on launch date or pricing.

  1. Availability, specs and pricing were confirmed today. Quite impressive in my humble and ignorant opinion :)
    Nice and slim design, massive song/video capacity, high quality accessories in the box already, add the right price and you’ll get my drift.
