Google Maps, Tele Atlas agree on 5 more years together
Today Google has announced that it has agreed to extend its partnership with Tele Atlas for another five years and that now the Internet giant will now have access to maps worldwide for online, mobile, and desktop apps.
“Google’s innovation and leadership is undisputed, and we are proud to have the opportunity to be the map foundation for one of the world’s most progressive web companies,” said Bill Henry, CEO of Tele Atlas.
No financial agreement details were released, but Tele Atlas is expected to provide content for Google Maps as well as Google Earth and Google’s Maps for Mobile.
