Google Media Server launches

Google logoThe always changing Google has launched its latest innovation, the Google Media Server application, intended to “bridge the gap between Google and your TV.” The Google Media Server is a Windows application that uses Google’s various desktop gadgets for the administration tool and Google Desktop Search to locate media files on your computer. To get the feature to work, all you need is a PC running Google Desktop and a UPnP-enabled device, e.g. a PlayStation 3, an Xbox 360 or Archos TV+.

With the software installed, you can then access videos, music, and photos stored on your PC from one easy location.
