Official Windows Mobile 6.1 ROM released for HTC Mogul

We reported on the unofficial release of the Windows Mobile 6.1 ROM for the HTC Mogul a few weeks back, however it has been enhanced and is quickly readying a bug-free release. The update has not been confirmed by Sprint or HTC, according to the folks at xda-developers.

A user that installed the update quickly noted that, while the enhancements include the addition of SprintTV, the update drops the ability to select the “roam only” option, instead opting for an automatic toggle.

An upgrade for the Touch is expected shortly, and the Treo 800w will launch with 6.1 in a few weeks.

Update: Windows Mobile 6.1 is now available for the Touch as well.
