Sprint has requested more time to clear spectrum

For those that remember, Sprint was asked to clear spectrum several months ago for public safety agencies. The original deadline was set for June 26, 2008, when Sprint was supposed to swap spectrum with the safety agencies, and the company has formally asked the FCC to extend the deadline. While the deadline was extended by the FCC, it has not made a final decision on when to set a new deadline as of yet.
