Verizon to offer visual voicemail in coming months
In a move to follow AT&T (Apple) and Sprint, Verizon will begin offering visual voicemail on select devices in the coming months. The offering follows customer requests, however with Verizon’s service, there is a bit of a difference: Verizon’s visual voicemail offering will be $1.99 monthly.
The visual voicemail application will initially be available on the LG Chocolate 3, the “Voyager Refresh” (not sure as to whether that is a software update or a new device), and Motorola’s “Blaze” and “Utopia,” both upcoming devices. The application will be in the form of a BREW download, and will be installed by the user without technician intervention.
