Sony intros Bravia KDL-32JE1 energy saving 32-inch LCD TV

At an event in Japan, Sony introduced a new 32-inch ‘Green’ LCD TV. The new Bravia consumes approximately 82 watts of energy versus the normal 125 watts for the same output.

Other features include WXGA (1366×768 pixel) resolution, 2500:1 contrast ratio, 178 degree viewing angle, and 2 HDMI ports. This new energy saving LCD is expected to be available in Japan at the end of July with a price around YEN150,000 (US$1387).
