Stirred but not shaken - Starbucks, T-Mobile, and AT&T settle

We recently reported that T-Mobile USA was filing suit against Seattle java giant, Starbucks, over a breach of contract between the two companies regarding its existing Wi-Fi infrastructure. The wireless carrier now states that “T-Mobile, AT&T and Starbucks have entered into a memorandum of understanding to resolve their disputes and are committed to providing a high quality Wi-Fi experience for customers,” Starbucks spokeswoman Stacey Krum said in the statement e-mailed to reporters.

T-Mobile had claimed that Starbucks “secretly” partnered with wireless competitor AT&T to offer free WiFi services despite its agreement with T-Mobile.
