LG’s 22-inch Flatron W2255TE monitor is greener than Kermit

LG Electronics announced what they are calling “the world’s most energy efficient monitor”, the Flatron W2255TE. This 22-inch widescreen monitor has a resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels, 2ms response time, 10000:1 contrast ratio, and a 170 degree viewing angle. Most importantly, the monitor promises a 45% reduction in power consumption.
The LG Flatron W2255TE is expected to be available in the UK starting in August.
