New Linksys WRT54G2 wireless-G router launches in the UK
In speaking with many consumers, Linksys was always known as the router brand with the most challenging initial setup. This could change with the Linksys WRT54G2. The device was recently launched in the UK, and includes Linksys’ EasyLink Advisor application, a simple-to-use software package designed to simplify the technical troubles that can arise when creating a wireless network.
The device includes the option of one-touch security setup using the Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) feature. Aesthetically, the device is quite pleasing, and includes an internal antenna for a better look when sitting on a desk.
The WRT54G2 will be available around the final week in June for an MSRP of £39.99. The device can be purchased in the US for approximately $59.99.
