KTF launches ‘Font of Your Own’ service, makes kidnapping a breeze
The South Korean government might have a bit of a ransom spike with the advent of this new technology. KTF has launched a ‘Font of Your Own’ service, which allows any user to take up to 33 characters with their cell phone to create a custom ‘letter’ style text message. The service is free, and a PC font editor application will be available for those who want to use the service for more than occasional use.
The service is only available in South Korea at this time. For those planning to use the service for kidnapping purposes, the days of cutting and hand delivering a ransom note are long gone. Hey, mail your victim’s family a cell phone and then send them creepy text messages at all hours of the morning. The possibilities are endless - at least within the borders of South Korea.
