HP takes the wraps off ultra thin notebook, the Voodoo Envy 133
HP unveiled an ultra thin notebook, the Voodoo Envy 133, to rival Apple’s MacBook Air. This high-end laptop is only 0.7 inches thick, a tad thinner than the Air’s 0.76 girth.
The Envy 133 is encased in carbon fiber and can be colored to the users liking. The device sports a 13-inch LED WXGA (1280 x 800) display, uses an Intel Centrino chip for processing, a multi-gesture touchpad, and has both Bluetooth and 802.11a/b/g/n connectivity. Despite its thin profile, the notebook does weigh a bit more than the Air at 3.37lbs.
The HP Voodoo Envy 133 offers up to 3.5 hours of battery life on a charge and is expected to ship this summer for US$2099.
