BlackBerry’s upcoming Thunder image leaked just before 3G iPhone launch

The BlackBerry Thunder, slated for release on Verizon Wireless

Research In Motion’s announced BlackBerry Thunder has made its way to the internet in the form of a leaked Verizon internal document. The image confirms the touchscreen aspect of the device and solidifies its exclusivity to Verizon (as we had initially heard). While the device will be centered around the new touchscreen - a first for RIM - the device will have four physical buttons on the bottom of the device. Additionally, the device includes a new play/pause button on the top of the phone.

Research In Motion is gearing up for the iPhone launch, as the BlackBerry Bold prepares for its launch in three weeks, followed by the BlackBerry Thunder.
