Apple adds new features to iPhone 2.0 software
During today’s Apple developer conference, the company provided and confirmed details of its iPhone 2.0 software. Enhancements to the new software, which will be available for the original iPhone and the new 3G model, will include:
- Enterprise support for the business world
- Application store support
- Contact search
- iWorks support
- Office docs support including Microsoft’s PowerPoint
- Bulk deletion
- Parental controls
- Image saving
- Scientific calculator - used in landscape mode
The new software update will be available next month for all iPhone models for free, and for the iPod Touch at a cost of US$9.95.
