Dialogue and AEI’s mobile ticketing solution

We had heard that the technology was coming, but the first implementation has just taken place. Dialogue Communications and AEI Mobile have partnered with UK mobile payment initiative payforIT. This new version of ticketing will allow individuals attending parties to purchase tickets on their mobile phone using payforIT, and to receive the tickets via SMS.

PayforIT allows mobile phone users to purchase goods and services up to £10 on their devices. In an example of the technology launch, a Drum & Bass Arena event is taking place at Scala Club in London on 15th August and tickets are on sale today for £10. Users can purchase the tickets on their mobile device and have a barcode sent to them for scanning purposes that evening.
