Mozilla releases Firefox 3.0 RC2
Mozilla has updated its Firefox 3.0 web browser to Release Candidate 2 and has claimed all bugs have been worked out in the application software. The new release fixed approximately 40 or so identified bugs that had been discovered since the RC1 release three weeks ago.
The company claims there are still issues with Firefox 3.0 RC2 but they all remain on the site and server side. The new release candidate can be downloaded at Mozilla’s website.
According to Net Applications Inc., Microsoft’s IE is the internet’s top web browser with 73.8% market share, Firefox falls in line next at 18.4%, and in third is Apple’s Safari at 6.3%.
