Smartphone sales up 28% in Q1 2008

According to Gartner, global sales of smartphones is on the rise for 2008. For the first three months of the year, smartphone sales rose 29%.
Nokia leads the smartphone market at 45% share, RIM follows in second at 13.4% because of the business world’s beloved BlackBerry, and Apple comes in a distant third with 5.3% of market share.
