iriver Spinn and Lplayer to launch this summer
iriver’s Spinn and Lplayer are coming stores near you - as long as you consider the UK to be “near”. The players, which were shown at this year’s CES in Las Vegas, are finally ready for prime time, albeit only on the other side of the pond.
Successor to iriver’s Clix 2, the new Spinn uses an AMOLED player with a 3.2″ display screen with 480×272 pixel resolution. Other features include wireless Bluetooth, adobe Flash support, a 3D acceleration chip, and a DAB radio. The device will be available in 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB models this August and is expected to offer up to 25 hours of audio playback, 5 hours of video viewing, and 4 hours of digital radio listening on a full battery charge.
iriver’s new Lplayer might give Apple a run for its money. With a 2″ display with QVGA resolution and 8GB of memory, this tiny player is sure to win over some electronic hearts. The Lplayer provides up 25 hours of audio or 4 hours of video playback and is expected to be available starting in June.
