Nintendo DS Wi-Fi service discontinued at McDonald’s

McDonald\'sBack in November of 2005, owners of a Nintendo DS could walk into a McDonald’s, order food, and play online multi-player games in the process as a result of an agreement with McDonald’s, Wi-Fi provider Wayport, and Nintendo.  The agreement expired last November without renewal, and doesn’t appear to be coming back anytime in the near future.  Canadians are also losing their Nintendo DS Wi-Fi access due to an expiring agreement with their Wi-Fi provider, Fatport.

First AT&T/Starbucks with the iPhone, now McDonald’s with the Nintendo DS.  Oh, the madness!
